v5.0 NOTES:
This is a completely new release of the original ShocknAwe JO Mod. This version will completely replace version 1.4 if you have it. All existing JO, JO-Escalation and ShocknAwe JO maps will work with this version. We did a full release instead of just an update due to the amount of changes that we made.

Here are a few changes that were made as well as items added.

- Fixed grass from rendering upside down

- Increased ammo count on Javelin and Barret

- Allowed more weapons to be carried by More Classes and all weapons are now available to Joint Op' & Rebels.

All the teammates' HP are set to 32750 (normally 100)

NOTE: In Bad Habit Mission, Charlie Team might killed compulsorily. Once the Charlie 2 is dead, Charlie 1 WILL DIE. If you don't what that happen just restart your mission. Once Alpha team enter the village, Charlie will survive for sure.

The NO SAW mod allows the server to turn off all SAWs that join the server. Both the player and host must have this mod installed. If you join the game with a SAW you won't have a weapon.

This mod brings all the Delta Force: Black Hawk Down objects, terrains and weapons to Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising.

Unfortunately, Novalogic has not enabled this mod for online
play. It is only possible to play this mod on a LAN, hosting on
Novaworld will give an error message.

This MOD is a stand alone MOD never install VX-full.exe into your DJ³ Folder, because it will crash your DJ³ Game.
VX-MOD is the Player Section of DJ³ and it`s full compatible to old DF:X Maps (Stock maps).

This mod was being made for a wile to get thing in and out to bring back and out some thing and to have more thing light up some fans eyes with the stuff we add and we spent are money on to get them in to this game.

All weapons are all new and the Vehicles and a lot of the Buildings and props and sounds we spent a lot of money to bring a lot of stuff into this mod, I hope you all enjoy this mod and if any one would like to make any more links for this mod you can do so to make it a lot easy for others to download. This mod will not be updated or patched at all it has every thing we need in to it. and this mod is are last and we just want every one to have fun... There are 6 MP maps all TDM DM and thats all to give you a feeling how it plays, You can play this mod on Novaworld and we put all DFX2 JO objects in but DFX and JO maps will not work because of the ID number. I have only 11 AI in the mod all so i have put in DF1's Abominable Snowman in and a UAV Drone driver AI because i do have a lot of Drones inside this mod for the coop mappers.

You should notice a little less lag between shooting as the speeds of the bullets are alot faster. We also have working Body Armor in the game as well that does work. (does not work against sniper rifles!!!). Also the sniper rifles have been fixed as you should not get out shot from long distances by other close quarter battle weapons. We feel that the balance of DFX2 has been restored with this mod.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
You need to create a folder and name it NovaLogic BO V15. The period between the 1 and 5 is left out purposely.
Copy the DFX2 game you just updated and paste it into the NovaLogic BO V15 folder you just created.
Now you're ready to install the mod.

Here's the way I set up the Mod and how I've taught my squad members to set it up. First, you have to have an up to date version of DFX2. To do that, go into your DFX2 folder, find the 'update.exe' file and double click on it to run it. If the updater comes up with version 2.1.4.2 at the top, your game is not up to date. Stop the update by clicking on the "X" to close it.

This creates an Update Folder in DFX2. Open this folder and copy these 2 files. Copy both at once by holding down the CTRL key:

update.exe
REVUPDAT.exe

Now, paste these 2 files back into the DFX2 game. It will overwrite the existing files which is what you want to do.
Once you've done this, run the update.exe again. The version number at the top should read 2.1.4.3. This not only updates the game, it also adds some files not included in the original update.

Once that's completed, your game is ready to add the BO V1.5 to it but first we need to create a folder for it.

You need to create a folder and name it NovaLogic BO V15. The period between the 1 and 5 is left out purposely.
Copy the DFX2 game you just updated and paste it into the NovaLogic BO V15 folder you just created.
Now you're ready to install the mod.

There are 2 parts to the mod . . . BO V1.01 and BO V1.5.
BO v1.01 will be installed first. This is the core of the Black Ops Mod.

This part is VERY IMPORTANT! When you are prompted for the location to download the file to, click on the BROWSE button and select the game version that is in the NovaLogic BO V15 folder.

When that is completed, go to this link and download the final version which is BO V1.5. Follow the same steps you did when downloading and installing BO Mod V1.01. Both files go into the DFX2 game in the NovaLogic BO V15 folder.

My original idea was to make a colored blood mod, It didn't work out by changing the original so I made a different kind of mod, instead of blood shooting out you'll see people burn up like you shot them with a flame thrower, looks cool but kinda annoying as instead of seeing red when you get shot flames get in your face. Doesn't give you any advantage other than you can see when you shoot/hit people while sniping from a long distance. Installer includes the default blood mod to change it back.

Features:

-Added over 350 items from the Deep Jungle Mod.

-Added the entire alphabet and numbers plus symbols so that squads dont have to use barrels or other objects to write out their squad tag in the maps they build.

- Added items in to Honor the memory of Dr. Evil Tags who was killed in Action.

- Added all the Items for TeamSabre so that all maps with any items from TeamSabre in them can be hosted on a BHD based server and People who dont have TeamSabre can still join the server. (Note: These items were added with the permission of NovaLogic and you will still need TeamSabre installed if you wish to use the Terrorist Characters).

- Added more new items that were not put into the original release

The Marksman Project aims to enhance the game-play set out by stock DFx2 with more accurate ballistic modeling and more weapons to play with.

This mod does not necessarily seek to create a new game out of DFx2, but rather push the engine to its fullest potential in terms of player vs. player combat.

This version of the mod is considered to still be in the Beta phase. That is, this mod is not complete, but is offered to those who are interested in testing the ballistics and game-play changes. French Texts for Black Hawk Down and Team Sabre

Some versions of the game translated into other languages have become inaccessible and have not been updated to the latest version.
With a little manipulation you can change the language by replacing some files and get a good result.
As I am lucky to still have access to this version of the game, I was able to extract the original french texts and update them to be compatible with Team Sabre and not have invisible text.
Team Sabre does not seem to contain a version in french, so I myself translated the missions of the extension except for the mission briefings that appear when loading before the mission begins.
As these are images (.pcx files) it is more complicated to replace the original text with translated text.

Installation for Black Hawk Down and Team Sabre:
Before any manipulation make a copy of your game folder in order to keep the original and be able to go back in case of problem!
To install the texts, you have three solutions.
1.
- Put all the .bin and .pcx files into the game folder
- Create a shortcut of dfbhd.exe
- Right clic on the shortcut and go to Properties
- At the end of the "Target" line write /d with a space in front of it, clic on Apply and OK then test

2.
- Replace the .bin and .pcx files into the files localres.pff (for Black Hawk Down) and EXP1.pff (for Team Sabre), you need a PFF editor to edit this file

3.
You will need a PFF editor
- Create a custom .pff file, name it with a simple name (for example French.pff) then place it in the "mod" folder located in the game folder (create it if it does not exist).
- Put all the .bin and .pcx files inside the .pff file
- Create a shortcut of dfbhd.exe
- Right clic on the shortcut and go to Properties
- At the end of the "Target" line write /mod NameOfYourMod with a space in front of it (ex : "C:..dfbhd.exe" /mod French), clic on Apply and OK then test


Notes:
- The text file of Black Hawk Down for Med software has not been translated.
- You can find the text of the mission briefing of the loading screen also in the game by pressing the "G" key, This text has been translated.
- The mission 7 of Team Sabre contained practically no text for the mission briefing. However the text of the loading screen was complete, as it is the same information I therefore copied all the content and do a translation job to get a complete description in this mission.
- The mission 10 had differences between the game text and the loading screen. The briefing in the game seemed to have some errors and not very complete, so I made a mixed of the two texts to have more complete information in the mission.

Certaines versions du jeu traduites dans d'autres langues sont devenues inaccessibles et n'ont pas été mis à jour à la dernière version.
Avec un peu de manipulation vous pouvez modifier la langue en remplaçant certains fichiers et obtenir un bon résultat.
Comme j'ai la chance d'avoir encore accès à cette version du jeu, j'ai pu extraire les textes originaux et les mettre à jour afin qu'ils soient compatibles avec Team Sabre et ne pas avoir de texte invisible.
Team Sabre ne semble pas contenir de version en français, j'ai donc moi-même traduit les missions de l'extension à l'exception des briefings de mission qui s'affichent lors du chargement avant que la mission commence.
Comme ce sont des images (fichiers .pcx) il est plus compliqué de remplacer le texte original par un texte traduit.

Installation pour Black Hawk Down et Team Sabre :
Avant toute manipulation faites une copie du dossier de votre jeu afin de garder l'original et pouvoir retourner en arrière en cas de problème !

- La mission 7 de Team Sabre ne contenait pratiquement aucun texte pour le briefing de la mission.
